It was great getting together with you and Jun Long Wang. I had a wonderful time and was floating for some days afterward. There is something you can't describe with words about being with skilled players. The exchange of energy is just fantastic.
I know we talked a bit about the focus of our personal practice, but one thing I didn't get to talk to you about was the fact that for me, at this point T'ai Chi is about understanding the nature of reality, that is really my goal. What do you think about this? Is it something that has come up for you as well? If so there is much to share.
By the way, I just realized I will be out of the country (my girlfriend, baby and I are going to Turkey for two weeks in September) so I cannot make the Push Hands Group Sept. 26th. But I will attend the October 24th Meetup. Feel free to email or give a call anytime. It is always a pleasure to catch up with you. Gene
Hello Fred,
I hope you are enjoying your trip to Taiwan snd getting a lot accomplished. I just wanted to let you know what a great time I had catching up with you at Push-Hands. Just being around your energy effects me very positively for many days afterwards. It has actually caused me to think quite a bit about the way I do T'ai Chi, as something special happens when I do it with you. I guess there is a unique connection any two people have when they Push Hands, it is just with some it is more interesting than with others.
Anyhow I have been thinking a lot about T'ai Chi and am realizing that I do my own interpretation of Yang Style T'ai Chi and so with this realization I am working on developing it and am calling it Cloud T'ai Chi. You have been instrumental in my coming to this realization and so, I consider you an influential master in the style. I hope I am not being presumptuous and that it is okay with you to include you in this way. To me, Cloud T'ai Chi is about the air and the emptiness or space that surrounds us, and that anything entering into that emptiness can be known by us, if we are sensitive and aware. I believe the empiness or space that surrounds us is alive and conscious and that we can draw information from it. I guess that is my philosophy regarding what I am trying to do.
Another question I have for you is have you ever heard that term before? Is anyone already doing Cloud T'ai Chi? I have heard Cloud Hands, etc. but not Cloud T'ai Chi. Anyhow, these are my thoughts and I would love to get your feedback and look forward to when we can get together again.
Until that time, Best Wishes- Gene Golden

Haevy and Light, Full and Empty, Alive and Dead的字眼,這虛腳是Light(輕), Empty(空), Dead(不活躍)。
if this is straight , it will lean you forward。
